Butterfly Soup 2

I've been looking forward to this sequel for so long and it does not disappoint. My face hurts from smiling. 

this is my favorite game of the year. butterfly soup 1 gave me such brilliant memories with my friends and i still hold min's gun that shoots a gun that shoots a knife as one of my favorite gaming moments ever. butterfly soup 2 has so much nuance. like. wow these characters grow and develop and have so much love for each other! they make each other better! they are all so good together! the ending is incredibly touching and lovely and gives me so much joy and hope for the world. gonna be thinking about this for a very long time. maybe somewhere down the road a few weeks later i might binge play both games in a day. it's a game worth replaying!

(spoiler: love the detail at the end where they use 'they' pronoun for min it's lovely. sorry ! spoilers haha. hope i didn't read that wrong it was a super fleeting detail but it's great.) in love with all the characters. thank you brianna lei!

Whoaza!!! I'm so glad this sequel tracked on more issues or topics on issues!! It made me so happy, especially getting to see the relationship between cultures, parents.. Or how things could've turned out in ways?? I don't know what to say!! I'm actually speechless, more than wordy!! o_o so cool!! SO GOOD!!

I am speechless. I just finished the game and it exceeded my wildest expectations. The characters are as loveable as I remember them and we get more insight into the struggles all four of the main cast are dealing with. Each one was given great attention and care, with all four feeling equally important in their struggles and motives. I audibly reacted at all the hilarious shenanigans that ensued and was shocked into silence at the real complicated emotions each one dealt with. Much like the first game, the ending held an uplifting tone towards the future, and the ending was touching and a bit unexpected. Absolutely wonderful job Brianna Lei (and the rest of the team), I'm so glad I got to see this colorful cast of characters brought to life again :)
