last year I played first game with my friend and we both loved it. We were so excited when we saw the second game and played it together. I love this game and its characters so much. My friends also loves it. And we both find this game funny and quote the dialogues sometimes. Anyway, I am glad I played it. Lots of love <3
I am once again alive. I miss Butterfly Soup. I miss Brianna Lei. I miss being a fresh and clumsy gay highschooler relying on a visual novel for existential clarity. This game really made a safe bubble for a lot of people. Thank you Brianna Lei for existing.
this game is honestly one of the best games i've ever played. i really enjoyed the first one and the sequel exceeded every expectation i had. growing up in an immigrant household, i find myself relating a lot to all of their stories in some way, but most especially diya and noelle's. this game means so much to me because i can finally have characters that have the same experiences and struggles as me. i cried a little bit when i finished the game and the credits rolled. it was really great, thank you :3

I loved this, i remember playing the game years ago and finally came on itch.io for the first time in months to find that a part 2 was made. I laughed and cried at the end, all of the characters feel so real

The first Butterfly Soup meant so much to me as a 14 year old and i now, nearing 20, am overjoyed after playing Butterfly Soup 2. I feel like I've grown up with these girls.
All aspects of the game are well made, from the atmospheric backgrounds and sound effects, to the lovely soundtrack that's very fitting to the game. The meme references and dialogue exchanges between characters are funny as hell. It is so exciting to see D.A.M.N and all the others again and play through their new arcs.
Thank you Brianna for all the time and work you've put into these wonderful games. This series will always have my support <3

I sent you a lot of personal feedback on many details but what I will say in a public space here is that your characters continue to be utterly charming and hilarious. I just never laugh so much and with such frequency at games like I have these two title. Your ability to use the visual novel medium to capitalize on humanistic 'cringe' humor is delightful.
Beautiful game, loved the first one and loved this one too. I really liked that it digs a lot of important themes (I'd say do read the warnings before hand) and it was overall very interesting and fun as always. The writing is really clever.
The characters are deeply explored and we can see a lot of their vulnerable sides which I really appreciated and seeing them talk about their difficulties and how they relate to that really made me happy as someone who also lives some of them.
I'm really happy that this game was able to be made and will buy the bonus pack and I also can't wait to see more of the creator's content ^^.
Great to get more perspectives and developments with these characters :). Not much makes me laugh aloud, but a mention of king dedede and Glados being hot in their respective circumstances got me snorting. The first game and its sequel are so expertly refined and up to bat with humor (I'm sorry). The story flows just as smooth as the first time around, with properly placed flashbacks and callbacks to the past (and future). Butterfly 1&2 are such comforts in a weathering storm. These games are sweet and savory, like if soup tasted good with cream puffs. (That makes no sense??) The controversial topics of conversation and identity bring home some of the core themes of being comfortable in one's skin and kind to yourself, as the world changes, yet stays the same. I'm still holding out to wear Min's jacket one day so I can be half as cool n' confident. I'll be sure to follow any future projects if any arise, Soup related or not.
