Butterfly Soup

This game is awesome!  I like the plot and the characters are cute too, I will love and remember this game forever<3

                This is one of the greatest things on the internet, perhaps only superseded by Katawa Shoujo, and I'm really trying to say something there. The thing I value most about a piece of media is its ability to capture and distill life, and Butterfly Soup meets my one criteria with flying colors. When you can laugh and cry for something, I think that's reason to hold it in high esteem. Please fucking play this game. It's like—the best. Just do it, you won't regret it. Especially if you're a highschooler. And hella gay. 

This game is soo fun and good!!!!! 10/10, I first started playing when it was 2020 and immediately fell in love. I love the characters artstyle, humor and just the entiiiiiire game. I'm in love with the sequel too because im a big pee pee ketchup man enthusiast. THANK YOU BRIANNA LEI FOR THIA MASTERPIECE !!11!1!!1!

really fun VN! reminded me of when i was in school still, very accurate dialogue. -2 for weird jab at communism, ig they are high schoolers tho so they can't be perfect. i chalked it up to american propaganda and still enjoyed the rest of the game

played this a few months back, as till today i still find myself replaying this.

 this is a fucking masterpiece, 3 hours felt so fast...all characters felt like actual people and not just people held by gunpoint repeating a script. i loved everyone especially akarsha,  a few of her scenes hit way too close for comfort. loved the ace attorney reference i rolled on the floor cackling over this for 10 minutes straight. stan the semes. 11/10 best visual novel ever i might get an akarsha plush

I loved every second of this, thank-you so much for making it! It’s so immensely heartwarming, real, and absolutely hilarious. The scene in the café at the end will forever fill my heart with joy. <3 I actually just finished the also amazing sequel and will post more thoughts there!

i liked it a lot but i was shipping diya and noelle so hard i was half dissapointed they didnt end up together 😭😭 on a sidenote the game was so funny i didnt laugh so hard in a visual novel before

I love this game so so much, the characters are relatable and hilarious, the gameplay is engaging, and I couldn't stop laughing while playing! one of my new favourite games on the site, I just can't describe my love for it. I love it more than diya loves min ♥♥

WOW, just wow... just finished this game (i've been playing it over the course of a few days now) and it's immediately become one of my favorite games i've played recently, and arguably my new favorite game on itch.io, i just love everything about this game. the characters are amazing, each one is insanely well written. you really get a feel that they are all different unique people, it is very realistic. i love that they all speak and text differently and each have their own quirks, interests, and family troubles. i have never really played much baseball or watched much really but this game definitely sparked my interest and i found myself looking up things about it to understand the game better (both the game of baseball and this game). i absolutely adore how hilarious the dialogue was at times and i found myself laughing aloud much more than once. the settings were beautiful, i can't tell if they are drawings or photos with artistic effects on them, but i really liked how the backgrounds reminded me of real life and real places around my hometown. your art style is fantastic and each character's physical appearance reflects their personalities really well. i enjoyed the unique aspect of playing through the different girls' points of view, it reminded me of books i used to read where each chapter would alternate between the different main characters' perspectives. this is such a unique and memorable story, this game will stick with me for a long, long, time; I can already tell!

I am very  late but this game is such a nice fresh air in the genre. Lovely characters, lovely storie, the game design is dope, dialogues made me wheeze like a whale for hours, 20/20 a really good game.
