I picked up this game sometime last year but never managed to play it very much due to the fear of being ridiculed by my brother, but honestly i don't care any longer about what the hell he thinks, and overall I really enjoyed Butterfly Soup, it honestly is one of the best games i've ever played, even surpassing ones I payed $30-$60 for. Also the gay and the memes were really good ((also the gay memes) ie: "I make gay jokes because I am a gay joke", hella relatable ngl)),I just really love this game ok?
PS: Please make more VN games like this one, i'd play the fuck out of any of those. I'll legit pay full price for a game as good as this one.
Played this in one sitting and it was AWESOME! Near the end (you know what part ;) ) I had to save and quit the game just to take a break from the cuteness and squeal. Also having Min being non-binary was a nice touch especially the part where she goes to the family bathroom! All in all it was great.

I absolutely loved this game. I relate so much to Diya when it comes to the whole "girls" thing. This game has so many cute feature and silly goofs. I have recommended it to all of my friends, and ill be playing this over and over for a long time.
An absolute must play! One of my favorite games and definitely one of the best lesbian pieces of media I've come across! Phenomenal humor, game design, characters, art, sound design! A lovely and accurate coming of age story (don't forget the sport) !

I'm not used to playing visual novels, and they're not my favorite genre, but this game still seriously blew all my expectations away. The art style is gorgeous, and I love the diversity of the cast. The jokes are always on point (it's a usually a bit rare for me to laugh while reading, but I seriously had to leave the my bedroom to not wake up my brother because I couldn't stop laughing). Most importantly, though, the characters feel real. Every response, every conversation, every joke... they are extremely fleshed out characters, and I love it.
I guess the only "complaint" I'd have is that the ending doesn't feel like an ending to me (feels a bit rushed), but I guess that makes sense, as the game had to be shortened for scope reasons.

i don't ever leave game reviews but this one is so freaking worth it. everything about it was so awesome and perfect. i literally love everything about it. akarsha is totally my fav, but all the characters felt so real and full of emotion and the dialogue was just spot on i swear. it was so fresh and actually made sense in regard to today's culture (memes). like the way they talked and texted was so funny because it was so spot on with how we all communicate with each other now. like,, every other visual novel i've played always has some sort of falsehood about it. usually because the characters are just way too serious or the way they speak doesn't seem natural and laidback enough or the text language was obvi written by an adult who doesn't understand how kids text these days. but the way they all talked and texted like normal teens in this day and age was so refreshing and heartwarming in a way and it made me wish i could be real life friends with them all. plus the art was adorable and there were a ton of moments that made me laugh out loud. i just can't say enough good things about this game. it is a job well done and i HIGHLY recommend everyone plays it. it's just too cute to pass down. LOVE this game, def my fav visual novel to date <3

The character design was so uwu and I like how POC weren't just made to be the Token Side Character Of The White Protag.
